COVID-19 Update from Shell Lumber and Hardware

Dear Valued Customer,

As we all move through this time together, Shell Lumber and Hardware would like to keep our customers up-to-date on essential services and products. We have created a page on our website that will have the latest updates.

Some important points:

Face Masks In Stock

. We have ear looped face masks in stock for store pickup! You may purchase online for store pick up.

. We apologize but shipping of the masks is not yet available.

Enhanced Local Delivery.

We have begun a small order delivery service to certain zip codes. Orders of $50 or more are FREE delivery, $20 delivery fee for orders under $50. While Shell's fleet continues to service South Florida with lumber and building material deliveries, we are now using our delivery vans for smaller residential orders. You may order by phone, in-store, or on the website.

Cleaners, Disinfectants, Toilet Paper

We are bringing in large supplies this week. Please call the store for availability.

Shell Lumber and Hardware will remain open

as permitted by local and federal authorities. However, we will be closing weekdays at 5:00 pm instead of the usual 6:00 pm. In addition, the store will be closing at 4:00 pm instead of 5:00 pm on Saturdays.

Shell Lumber and Hardware is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and helping our customers to do the same.

We are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak and are adhering to the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) as well as the Florida Department of Health.

We have advised our employees to follow the public health authorities' guidance regarding hygiene and personal distancing, and we’ve encouraged employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional. Employees are all required to wear masks and gloves while working. We’ve stepped up cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and work areas to an hourly process. We have also marked out distancing spots in our check out lane and are limiting the amount of perople in the hardware store.

Rest assured that Shell Lumber and Hardware’s broad selection of lumber, hardware, paint, building materials are available at the store or for local delivery via the Shell Fleet.

Due to increased demand for some cleaning and personal care products, we may be temporarily out of stock on certain items. We want to assure you that we are sourcing among hundreds of vendors to add more stock when possible. We encourage you to visit or call our store for updates on product availability.
