The recent executive order by the Miami-Dade mayor has classified Hardware Stores as essential establishments that may remain open.

Shell Lumber and Hardware will remain open

as permitted by local and federal authorities. However, we will be closing weekdays at 5:00 pm instead of the usual 6:00 pm.

Shell Lumber and Hardware is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and helping our customers to do the same.

We are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak and are adhering to the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) as well as the Florida Department of Health.

We have advised our employees to follow the public health authorities' guidance regarding hygiene and personal distancing, and we’ve encouraged employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional. We’ve stepped up cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and work areas to an hourly process.

Rest assured that Shell Lumber and Hardware’s broad selection of lumber, hardware, paint, building materials are available at the store or for local delivery via the Shell Fleet.

Due to increased demand for some cleaning and personal care products, we may be temporarily out of stock on certain items. We want to assure you that we are sourcing among hundreds of vendors to add more stock when possible. We encourage you to visit or call our store for updates on product availability.
